Real-Time Monitoring

This is one of a nearly Infinite possible number of configurations for the Weather View real time monitoring screen. This configuration shows a Real Time Wind Speed graph, several user configured Trend Graphs, several Dial Indicators, and Text Readouts of several weather sensor readings This display can be modified to suit your preferences.

Each of the objects on the display window may be removed or moved to suit you preferences. Your mouse cursor will change to a 4 way arrow icon when you are over an object which may be moved. Press and hold the left mouse button down while over a object and drag the object to the desired location by moving the mouse (Drag and Drop). If you have not disabled the ToolTips, a short message will be displayed when the mouse pointer is over a display object.

Right clicking your mouse on any display object will bring up a menu with several choices. Select Remove Item to delete the object from the display. If a graph of any sort was selected you will be allowed to nudge the graph scale up or down (Nudge Graph Scale Up/Down) to better suit the current weather conditions. If you have right clicked on a blank area of the display, a popup version of the Display menu will appear. If you choose to add a display object at this point, the location that you clicked on will be stored and the object will appear at the stored position when you finish configuring the objects properties. The entire real-time display window is sizable.

The menu below is used to configure the Real-Time Monitoring screen in Weather View 32

One customer has called it the "Burger King" display (Have it your way)!

Choosing any of the "ADD"  choices will bring up a window which will allow you to configure and place a new display object on the real-time monitoring screens desktop.

Each of the "Show" items are toggled on/off when selected. Show Grid. Grid to help in positioning objects. Show Display ToolTips, Helpful hints about objects. Show Menubar, Removes/replaces Menubar. Show Toolbar, Removes/replaces toolbar. Show Statusbar, Removes/replaces Statusbar.

Any number of real-time monitoring screen configurations may be saved for future use. Choose Save Display Configuration and a standard save file dialog will open. To load an existing display configuration file select Load Display Configuration and select from the list of saved files.

You may select the background color of real-time monitoring display and/or you may assign a .bmp picture file as the background!

The display may be "Locked" (No repositioning of objects or removal of objects allowed) by selecting Lock Display.
