Weather View32 allows owners of weather stations equipped with RS-232 Serial Ports to connect to their Internet access enabled Win95/98 or Win NT 4.0 computer. All you need is a place to store your web page and access to the Internet via an ISP dialup, ISDN, or dedicated connection. Weather View32 will also display the current weather data on the users monitor and store collected data to disk for use in the graphing and reporting features of Weather View. A "stationless" version also exists for displaying METAR data from the National Weather Service public domain FTP site.

Weather View 32 offers the user unequaled flexibility in all aspects of configuration. Whether you have a single weather station connected directly to your PC, or need to access 50 remotely located weather stations via modem dial-up, a Weather View 32 version exists to suit your needs.

Notes: Features that only apply to the Professional version will be identified by the (Pro Only) comment.
(Professional version provides an amazing set of internet related capabilities, including the automatic retrieval images that may be displayed and animated as part of a real-time weather display!)

Texas Weather Instruments, RainWise WS-1000, Columbia Weather Systems Capricorn 2000, Capricorn II, II+ stations supported only by Professional version!

RainWise WS-2000, Maximum's WeatherMAX, Davis Weather Monitor II, Weather Wizard III, Davis Wireless, Peet Bro's Ultimeter, Radioshack WX-200/Oregon Scientific WM-918 versions are available in both standard and professional versions. Any data logging capability of the respective stations is fully supported with the exception of the Peet Bro's weather buffer (that is one strange piece of hardware, whoever wrote the data spec is going to have job security!).

With the addition of the capabilities to access METAR and HTTP URL's that have been added to the professional version, it is now possible to access a great deal to the weather data with out any weather station being installed at your site at all. To accomplish this a "No Station Required" version of Weather View 32 is now available. This is only available in standard (standard can only retrieve data, not post to web site) and professional versions.

Broadcast TV Use: A special version of Weather View 32, Weather View 32 Broadcast is available for customers who desire to provide weather data via cable, TV, and other means of video transmission. Weather View 32 can create true broadcast quality images. This version has the ability to display up to 100 user defined slides, each of which can be either a weather View screen configuration or a image file you have provided. Pleasing transition effects (over 100 to choose from) between slides is provided. Contact ItWorks directly for information on this version.
