Weather View 32
Broadcast, Cable, Closed Circuit TV Features

The broadcast version of WV32 allows the operator to define WV32
screens as slides which can be displayed in sequence with transition
effects for a set period of time or advanced via a remote button click. We offer wired
and wireless remotes for such purposes. A total of 100 slides may be defined. Each slides
can be defined as one of three types, a WV32 screen layout, a user provided image, or as
an invisible blank slide which is useful when running in manual advance mode and the
position of the displayed screen within the monitor needs to be changed or the size of two
sequential slides are different.
After slides have been defined, the slides can be arranged into up to 20 distinct slideshows. transition effects between slides is provided (see the extensive list of transition effects below the images detailing the definition and configuration of slides and slide shows shown below the following text).
WV32 provides nearly unlimited text formatting options for displayed text based information. This is very useful when converting a VGA computer screen to NTSC video. For instance, adding a simple drop shadow to a text contractor will greatly enhanced readability when the image is converted to NTSC video.
The WV32 screens which are displayed as slides will not be static, moving indication of the wind speed direction and all other parameters can be displayed. Wind used in conjunction with the METAR site retrieval capabilities of WV32, not only the local data retrieved from the attached weather station (not required) but data from any operational METAR site in the United States or the world can be shown within the slideshows. it would be very simple to design a WV32 screen configuration which has a map of your state or locality assigned as the background image with METAR data that is transparently superimposed upon the background image detailing the conditions around your locality.
Pricing for the broadcast version of Weather View 32 is $999.99. Do not be fooled by the low price, this package offers capabilities well beyond what one would expect in a broadcast compatible system offering the features of Weather View. It is entirely possible to build an entire system including weather station, computer, VGA to in S. D.C. converter, and WV32 broadcast for under three thousand dollars.
The computer system running Weather View 32 in a broadcast environment should meet the following minimum specifications:
Pentium II/266 or faster processor
