The Digital Video Director 2000 system is a complete video solution for the professional. The DVD-2000 provides an all-digital system that can record, playback, and output full-motion, full-screen video and true-color computer animation. The system eliminates the need for an expensive animation controller and frame-accurate videotape recorders.

The DVD-2000 offers Video Engine functionality in a high-performance, low-cost desktop configuration. With a 133 MHz Pentium™ processor, the DVD-2000 offers excellent processing performance for fast digital video effects and demanding CAD applications, combining power and specifications to offer video and high-performance graphics in a single seat.

DVD 2000 Video Editing Workstation:

The DVD 2000 is a low cost PC based system designed to be a full featured desktop video editing system for use in on-line or off-line broadcast TV facilities and post production houses. As an off-line editor it allows the user full control over all editing components of digital video and the ability to manage video large projects using an intuitive visual graphical interface and a timeline editor.

Features:

The virtual Digital Video Disk Recorder (DVCR) does real-time Digital Video capture and playback of composite RS-170A and Y/C Component video including a synchronous CD quality stereo soundtrack.

An optional upgrade provides full CCIR-601 support for Betacam component video applications.

Frame grabber utility allows capture of still video frames, and export as files in several formats

Full software video controls, including H/SC genlock phasing, pass thru bandwidth, pre-emphasis, gamma correction, filtering and many others provides adaptivity to even the most diverse video applications.

Simple "cuts only" video/audio editing or full blown 3D effects

Complex A/B video editing using professional effects and transitions, including motion control, dissolves, overlays, wipes, zooms, distortions as well as full audio track editing, inserts, and fades.

The timeline oriented graphical interface makes it easy for novices and pros alike to see exactly what composes the video editing session, and allows you to easily drag n' drop video, audio, or effects clips.

Our PixPro FX program provides full on-air/on-line video support using a simple graphical interface that allows even the novice technician to assemble video and audio clips as well as still images into a playlist for use on-air in a timed or event triggered sequence.

Adobe PhotoShop 4.2 is included to allow touch up of video clips, or creation of artwork from scratch. It has 32 bit processing, hundreds of effects and filters, and a superb user interface.

Full LAN and interconnectivity support allows you to connect DVD-2000 to a variety of Ethernet based video and PC networks to allow file sharing and file transfer between other video systems.

The open architecture of the DVD-2000 gives you an open upgrade path to support a wide variety of third party software packages to give you maximum flexibility in the future. There is virtually no PC based graphics or video software that cannot work with the DVD 2000!

The DVD 2000 is available either in a desktop PC case or an industrial rackmount case.
